A hacker affiliated with the Anonymous collective has stolen US and Israeli credit card details and posted them on the file-sharing site Pastebin, along with a list of UN resolutions condemning Israel for its hostility toward Palestinians.
The hacktivist, who calls himself Neon Seven and belongs to the ZCompany Hacking Crew (ZHC), leaked the details of more than 200 credit card numbers in retaliation for Israel's oppression of the Palestinians. He also launched #OpFreePalestine on Twitter.
"Only Israel, the United States, and a few US allies, clients and dependencies continue to deny recognition of the Palestinians as a people with the PLO [Palestinian Liberation Organisation] as their legitimate representative," the statement on Pastebin said.
It was accompanied by a list of UN resolutions from 1955 to 1992, some of which condemned Israel for its treatment of Palestinians and its lack of cooperation with UN peacekeeping forces.
"We will not sleep. We will not rest. We will counter your oppression with every breath. We are ZHC. United we stand, divided we fall," the statement added before listing the stolen credit card numbers and expiry dates.
